I am interested in understanding how internal states influence sensory processing and behavior across diverse aquatic organisms. My primary research interests utilize molecular, electrophysiological, neurobiological, and behavioral techniques to identify the mechanisms by which various sensory systems adapt to facilitate detection of their environment.
